Legal Assistant

Responsibilities

• Review of documents
• Take minutes of meetings
• Produce first draft of documents/letters.
• Draft and review agreements
• Organize and archive all legal documents, ensuring proper record-keeping.
• Follow up with property registration and perfection
• Conduct legal research on topics relevant to the company.
• Update the legislative register of the company with relevant laws and statutes from time to time
• Assist with compliance-related tasks as assigned by the Compliance Officer
• Assist with the Internal Audit and the external audit
• Liaise with external legal counsel when necessary
• Effectively carry out administrative tasks as assigned by the MD, GM, or the Legal officer from time to time.

Requirements

• Degree : LLB and BL
• Minimum experience of 3 years post-call to the Bar.
• ICSAN certification would be an added advantage
• Candidates residing at the mainland (Festac, Amuwo Odofin, Cele- Ijesha, Ago Palace, Isolo, Orile.
